Wedding Style | Park Winters | by Kristina Cilia Photography
This image has all the classic feels with so many emotional vibes yet at the same time is candid and natural looking in a photo journalistic way. Plus, the look of Black and White enhances all of that, don’t you think? I love to mix in some black and white photos! The photo was taken at a recent summertime wedding at the beautiful and historic Park Winters located near the town of Winters, CA.
I love to combine all types of photography when I am capturing a wedding because I feel it tells a more complete story. I love to secretly capture the behind the scenes as I quietly wonder around the bridal suite or pop into the lounge where the groom and his mates are getting ready or playing a game of pool (or corn hole or whatever!). Then I will get a variety of detail shots throughout the wedding day such as the flowers, rings, shoes/socks, buttons, eyelashes, jewelry, etc. I go about the entire wedding like this and somewhere in between I like to add some more formal portraits with the family before sneaking off with the bride and groom to create some fantastic moments all to themselves! By the end of the evening I have captured the toasts (or roasts!), the first dance (and the crazy dancing) plus all the other traditions that happen. Phew, what a day my assistant and I have had! But there is nothing that I would rather do 🙂 ~K
